Etude House: Face Designing V-line Slim Maker Review

Hi Lovelies! I have a very round face and I want a more defined face structure and widely desired by many is having a V shaped face or V Line Face. V shaped face gives a sculpted and youthful look and to achieve a sharpen features and toned jaw line you have to try face slimming exercises, injecting Botox or undergo cosmetic surgery.

However,  if you are on a tight budget like me :-) always remember that there is always cheaper alternative tools like face rollers, face lifting serums, creams or even face masks that are available in most beauty stores  and they are great for eliminating puffy cheeks and double chin.

Besides of “Kilay is Life” or Eyebrows on Fleek, I consider my self contouring and highlighting have been a very essential part of my makeup routine. If that’s the case you might ask,  Jinkyomi, How did you hide your chubby cheeks? Well just keep on reading my review!~ ;-)

V-line Slim Maker #1 Sun Gold / Wood Brown

The V-line Slim Maker come in two shades: #1 Sun Gold/Wood Brown which I bought online and  I will review today and #2 Sun Pink/Cherry Brown.

Packaging is more simple vintage theme with brown and yellow swirly decoration. There is also english description for using the product on the back.

On the upper part, you can find the shade of the compact and as you turn left the part of the box you can read the ingredients.

It also comes with mirror inside and brush which is very soft and perfect for my jaw line plus it’s very lightweight and travel friendly.

This is how the compact looks like. It has a pretty heart and diamond embossed pattern on the surface.

I love how the highlighter more pigmented and gives a glowy look while the shader you can create subtle everyday soft contoured look.

Here is my look using the product. The Sun Gold highlighter is a mixture of beige with tiny glitter that gives shimmery glow and it is perfect the bridge of the nose, forehead and cheekbones. It really does the shine or glow but you need to be blended well because it comes on really strong glittery. The Wood Brown shader is a matte and silky brown color that gives a more natural soft looking finish. It does not give a dramatic contour but I’m fine with it because I don’t want my nose and cheeks are noticeably contoured.

I absolutely love this product, it really helps me to create a V-line face and great for girls who want a subtle contour finish. It’s also convenient and cost effective since you get the highlighter and contour in one compact.

I hope that this helps you out in making your purchase. Annyeong!
